TRIUMF High School Fellowship

A $3,000 award for graduating Physics 12 students

TRIUMF is Canada's national laboratory for particle and nuclear physics, located on the campus of The University of British Columbia. The fellowship offers full-time experience in a real research environment followed by an award of $3,000. One or more fellowships are awarded each year.  BCIC (British Columbia Innovation Council) annually awards the TRIUMF fellowship to graduating BC secondary students who have completed Physics 12 and are entering their first undergraduate year in sciences or engineering at a recognized post-secondary institution.

  • For grade 12 students who have a passion for physics
  • For those who will be attending a post-secondary institution in September
  • 6-week work term at TRIUMF
  • $3,000.00 fellowship awarded at completion of work term and report
  • One or two fellowships per year
